II Censo de aves de la Alpujarra

On Sunday the 18th of April, the II Censo de aves de la Alpujarra will take place. The starting point of this first spring bird count will be Alquería de Morayma. The idea is to set off at 08.00 hours while the chance to see and hear birds is greater during the early hours. It will the same walk of about five hours as with the autumn bird census, during which 33 different species were counted. Anybody interested is welcome to participate, the only important thing is to be there on time. Detailed information can be found on the website of Alquería de Morayma.
